This is not working on the Windows app or the Chrome extension for me. It's very frustrating. I cannot use the email option with the file I'm trying to send because it's too big for my email service provider to send as an attachment (though still under Amazon's 50MB limit). Once you open the Kindle app you'll need to enter all your Amazon information (it's a one-time process) in order to register your device (your Mac, iPad, etc). Make sure to register all your devices with the same Amazon account to ensure your books are synced across all your devices. I'm getting the same error(s) related to Amazon being unable to determine what my Kindle devices and apps are even though they're all showing up on my Devices and Content section on the Amazon account page. Given how many other people are having the same issue today, I would guess that Amazon broke something on their end. Maybe it's related to the Oasis 2 announcement. Apple There’s no denying that QuickTime Player 7 is a fossil from an ancient era of the Mac. Download quicktime for mac 10.4. Why would Apple keep an older version of an app around, side by side with the new version? In fact, Apple never really implemented large portions of QuickTime itself for 64-bit architectures; as a result, I suspect a lot of apps that rely on QuickTime for their functionality may die or need major overhauls once the 32-bit era officially ends. ( from Apple.) Hmm, that’s weird. The reason is that QuickTime X didn’t offer many of the features of QuickTime Player 7. As with others here, I am having the same issue. Using 'Send to Kindle for Google Chrome' extension, running Windows 7. Cannot send anything to my Kindle. The page just continually refreshes and never actually sends anything. Never had the issue before and it started just today (October 11). Via live chat with Amazon support: 'There are reported issues with this and our development team is working on a fix for it.The issue has been forwarded to our application Engineers. They are determining the root cause of the issue. I see that the issue has been started from around 1:15 AM after the deployment of an update. The issue will be resolved within 24 -36 hours. I will follow up with your account and will notify you through an email once the issue is resolved.' I first noticed this issue yesterday while on my Macbook Pro (macOS Sierra 10.12). An internet search uncovered this forum, where it was recommended that I contact Amazon Support, which I did. Despite the fact that the choices offered to narrow down one's ultimate issue are somewhat vague and general, the support tech did his best to try and find out more about the problem, which he verified and consoled me that it had, in fact, been elevated and would hopefully soon be remedied. I'm now on my Windows 7 desktop, where I recently attempted to send a small rtf file via Send To Kindle. I did not encounter the error message from yesterday, so I presumed the issue had been fixed. However, on enabling WiFi on my 7th gen Paperwhite the 'sent' file was nowhere to be found. While I admit that I'm a bit disappointed in this feature I've come to rely on, I was able to successfully send via email a similar rtf file as an attachment to my kindle address. Let's keep our fingers crossed that Amazon will save the day and get Send to Kindle back up and running again.
